cannot use my phone number as a recovery choice "both nentindo switch, website and mobile"

So basically when i got recroom on my switch i forgot my password and when i tried to reset it with my email it wouldn't send the email so i tried using my phone number and it didnt even show up, i only have the account on my android device and i will send a picture of my account if i could get support from anyone
