If you want a real answer, it's honestly because new bean body is flawed and people are mad that Rec Room doesn't really care. Classic Bean body did have its flaws which were fixed by new bean, but in place we got an ever more buggy avatar type. This was fine until Rec Room removed Classic bean and then barely fixed the issues introduced besides some very surface level ones.

It’s not really buggy gameplay-wise now… at least from my experience it’s been perfectly fine there, it’s mostly unpolished animations for me which isn’t really as bad as breaking CV2 imo

Well everyone had gotten used to old bean and new bean didn't offer enough of an alternative too make the switch worth it. All it really did (for me) was break a bunch of my old outfits that if I override the save means I lose a nostalgic photo. Not only that but when they finalised the switch, every holotar broke and became unfixable. (Just go to ^IsleOfTheLostSkulls and you'll see what I mean)

Also. All the 'optimisation' mumbo jumbo to me seams like it's a lie. Everytime the game is changed to optimise something it either creates a game breaking glitch or just causes more lag than there was before (if you want an example, open your watch and scroll through the menu's. You will see what I mean)

Classic bean was also unoptimized since the whole model would be present when covered, same thing with hands except that the base hand and the point hand are two separate models, meaning it was only more resources to even render that hand, some people just don't know how to move on I guess

You cant move too high in the ask or into the ground because if the new avatars, but that makes the game more fair though. The funny part is that Rec Roon doubled the hitboxes (there's the hitbox that constantly follows your head, probably from the Classic bean, but then there's the hitbox on the newer bean and FBA avatars) so you can both hit their avatar from the ground and from the sky.

The design (they tried), the functionality (said they'd fix), the hitboxes (buggy dog poop), the movement/cringe animation (said they'd fix and add more into the game way over a year ago and still haven't), the optimization... kinda doesn't matter. People who assume it's NoStAlGiA are fools, because the only thing that lame excuse applied to is when FBA came out, being a whole different body type from our OG.

I got used to the new bean, but I still don't like it. It's ok, to say the least, but not perfect. The problem is it's been neglected of a proper upgrade, and felt just as rushed as the FBA was when they found out players were quitting due to hella bugs from its creation. That's pretty much the only real good excuse they have other than "they've had no issues with old bean," because saying "It's just better" doesn't really help, and just sounds biased.

That question made no sense but i'll attempt to answer it anyways, step 1: Use Bean2.0 not FBA, Step 2: Enable standing mode, Step 3: Sit on the floor or on your knees irl and look at a mirror in-game, You now have scoliosis. (Classic bean had that good posture | shaped spine)

i just prefer not having my body bend. the classic mouth also swoops downward now and its such an eyesore for me, im not gonna go against an unresponsive company for my nostalgia back. old bean was a preference and i feel like optimization shouldve went towards the watch and optimizing ugc lag before nuking a prefence that i held close to me. i want to end this by saying im not a skid, ive been enjoying this game for 7 years now and i think its finally time to move on from this hellhole game.
