Warning people would defeat the whole point. They're stepping up moderation. Giving warnings wouldve given people time to hide bad inventions and prevented useful action being taken, and honestly, even if they had given a warning, this probably would have happened anyway.

Warnings would have given players the opportunity to correct the mistake instead of immediately jumping from 0 - 100 and immediately taking rooms down with hours of work & placing restrictions on accounts.

No.. it’s a problem because most of us literally had no idea these inventions & ect were against the COC and there was no way of finding out because action was IMMEDIATELY taken without warning, these are mostly inventions that were created and completely fine YEARS prior but are being used NOW to place restrictions.

The issue is the complete opposite, most of these inventions are years old, forgotten, and weren’t against the rules when they were created.

That’s a strawman. Im saying give a warning before a punishment so players can fix harmless mistakes.

A warning system does not require determining intent.. Every modern game with moderation uses warnings without needing intent analysis.

This idea of “Safer to assume everyone is guilty” is an extremely flawed design.

It’s complete negligence and ruins the experience for literally everyone involved.

Infact warnings reduce workload, the complete opposite of your point. If players can fix their own issues before staff or AI has to escalate, that actually saves moderation time.

People who intentionally break rules make alt accounts, rename inventions, hide rooms and delete evidence.

A warning doesn’t suddenly give them magical new abilities. They already do this before moderation touches them.

Warnings will actually help regular users, not the bad actors.

Instant punishments with no warnings actually make it worse for regular users more than it actually does justice because it ruins your trust with the platform and places restrictions on your account, making you completely unable to engage in certain things because of something you didn’t even know.

You cannot justify punishing innocent users to catch guilty ones. That’s collective punishment, and no good moderation system works that way. It’s like banning everyone in a classroom because one student cheated, it just isn’t right.
