I have a pretty large ranking system and it ranks someone by selecting them with a list of all players in the room. The issue I am having is that it always ranks the ranker not the person you selected. "I used If Player Is Local" Before every part that changes the selected player's variables but it still ranks the ranker. I would upload a screenshot but its too big to show in one.

If someone could come in game and help I would be very greatful.

You have to send an event to the player being ranked

#

You are probably just updating your variable and not theirs

# sand vapor You have to send an event

Ill send a screenshot im gonna try to add it in. I dont know the correct way to put it, does it send or receive the event before the "If Player Is Local" or after?

#

Also, what target?

“Player”

Do you know how events work

pseudo mural
#

I know that event sender sends events when the input is triggered and the receiver receives them

Yeah

When you send it to player it redirects the signal to them

Remove if player is local, and connect the receiver to the variables

#

Also add properties to the definition

Of color and 2 strings

They are all the same about 8

Assuming you have everything set up right, you shouldn’t have to edit that stuff. When it goes to the sender instead of the receiver is everything else working properly?

Ok then you shouldn’t have to edit any of that stuff
