Rr is a free game and I understand they need to make money
But getting the option to buy rr+ when ever I wanna play and get tokens is annoying
Or when the 1st think I see is an option to buy a new costume for 4.99

And they stopped pushing it after they realised their mistake

While understandable that people don't like advertisements, it is needed in Live Service Free to Play games. From server upkeep to labor costs, non-invasive and non-gameplay impacting advertisements is what Rec Room has employed.

I’m sorry to hear that :( I know a lot of the people in here are really nice to be around, and are good friends. But still, a lot of people hate this game or are weirdos, usually both.

Also you’re not too old for this game lol, a lot of children just use this game to fight with one another and act like adults “aren’t allowed” for some reason. Hope you have a better time though :3

All in all-
Rec Room is fun.
However it does have a few major and minor flaws.
One being the Scripters on PC, another being (expecially with the moat recent Quest 2 Update) the game tends to absolutely kill your memory.

You have a non-zero chance of randomly crashing or disconnecting back to your dorm for absolutely no reason (fightable with constant saving, autosaves suck and barely work)

You also have the overabundance of 8-year-olds and younger being off of Junior accounts, and overfilling the RROs.

Then theres the Slopcreators. They all just- suck.
Their games are half-assed, and look like somebody just pissed out their layouts.

It also has it’s upsides.
Plenty of communities for you to join (stay away from UE, run by RauzMuz and Abdul, being the Next Epstein & his Cohort respectively)

You have pretty much unlimited Creative Freedom in Circuitry & Building.

You have PVP games, PVE games, Quest games.
Survival games.

Rec’s dev team was recently-ish cut in half, so theres that as well but that’s besides the point.

It comes down to preference I guess, how you like playing and all that.
