It follows the player but like i dont want the model to be tweaking all over. If its a right turn the whole thing turns 90 degrees

Im a mod in it and can see how it works its not goblin or anything but he wont show me the circuits
it’s some sort of pathfinding algorithm most likely
I figured it was pathfinding i just have no clue on how to find where to do any of that im just a builder snd my circuit guy doesnt know that stuff
it’s what goblin AI does but you don’t have to do any of the math/logic for the algorithm, that’s why it’s easier. it’ll literally do the same thing. Not all goblin AI is the same, you can make it however you want

Like you know how on controller you can move your joystick in a circle and it moves all arrround thats whag i mean by 360 but the ones i see are more like keyboard movement it only moves parallel to the walls
So again… you never explain that and then you wanted to get mad at me
so if the ai is chasing you down a hall it won’t turn its body to face you it’ll just keep looking forwards no matter what
The best thing you can do is just play one of the games to understand what i mean but i guess yeah kinda like if its chasing me down a straight hall and i tuck to the left side of the wall it will just look straight still but if i turn left to another hall it will follow just wont be looking exactly at where i am just the direction

That’s just node pathfinding, make nodes and have it look at and follow the best node to you, rather than looking at you and following you

I understand what you mean but my circuit knowledge is limited
I don’t have an invention, but I plan on making one at some point, it’s pretty simple for a basic one just make it go after the closest reachable node to the player
