I’m aware they aren’t active in private servers. They don’t record when your mic is turned off either. If you said something in a public server at some point then you were muted for that. Even if someone just reported you, and you got banned for that, then it was likely you said something that was a bannable offense.

Neither religion nor politics is in any way forbidden from being talked about. With the many Jesus freaks and red-blue-winged folk I have encountered in the game, they can make casual conversations, and won't get banned for hours. It's about your execution and how you went about it. If it wasn't that, which I truly believe, you were voice-banned from past strikes because the loggings will catch up to you at some point.
