Fr y’all it’s not that bad new Recroom’s community is bad yes but that’s OUR fault
And no I’m not saying old Recroom was bad (I played it) 2017 player here and let’s be honest changing small things like the menu UI and the bean bodies ISNT A HUGE DEAL just adapt I know it’s stupid but still they’re doing what they have to do we to make money to continue running the game and optimize now yes they didn’t have a reason to delete old beans but we can at least try to enjoy the game as it dies so please stop with “BRING BACK OLD RECROOMMMMMM😭😭” posts

In my term of "bring back old rec room" I mean players actually having fun instead of being toxic and just horrible
And the AI pictures just make me throw up thinking their isnt any creativity anymore

doesn't help to try to adapt when so many changes have made the game objectively worse to play

but they did have a reason to remove the old bean bodies. it wouldn't make sense to support three different versions of the avatar, with two of them being near identical, and it not using the same systems as the new bean and fba

I'll be real. I don't think I've met a single person while playing who was actually excited for any of the new changes. Full body avatars, Bean V2, any AI related things. And yet they keep spending god knows how much money on these features and wondering why they're losing money.

And they still just haven't even implemented features that players have been pretty much begging on their hands and knees for since the start of the game such as being able to implement Image and Audio files directly into the game (Without the use of Studio)

Recroom has become a cash grab drifting ever so far away from the college source material over time and yes the community is some what to blame but I'd say that we're just making content relevant to what we have today as memes

But something that most people can agree on is that we didn’t need ugc

And new bean is sort of Identical to classic but it is just broken

When players go afk on vr or screen they move into nothingness or freeze games

Classic bean didn’t do that most of the time

But they could’ve kept classic bean

Full body is horrible.
We did need UGCs to exist, but we really needed original Rec Room clothes with UGC items (extras they have not made [i.e. dog ears or complete superhero outfits like the vigilante]).
The new bean runs on the same software as FBA, but instead of copying the same features and animation from the classic bean, they just did another full body model, and took off the limbs to be bean-like (very cheap move.)
AFK crashing is also a thing for PC players, not just VR players. It's mostly their cause as well.
Adding on from that, that's not much of a classic bean issue (since it happened to classic beans too), it was just a general issue when clipping or interacting with entities in rooms that moved too aggressively, like a glitched dodgeball, VR players moving a whole lot, someone joining/leaving a room instantly.
They had to update the system, otherwise we wouldn't get future clothes/items to put on, the clothes were only going towards new bodies anyway. Also, apparently it is more efficient than the old software (which I still believe is a lame excuse since something like the weekly challenge got booted off while the daily challenge stayed).
As a 2022 player, I've adapted too, but that doesn't mean it's not a bug on its own that needs to be fixed, considering full bodies have existed since March of 2023/2024, I think (can't care enough to remember, but that's how careless they've been, and how long it's taken.)
