Legacy WatchUI option

Before you come here no, I’m not a “little Timmy” hating on the game for no reason. I’m here to talk about the 2020 watch menu. It matched the style of Rec Room, and honestly, it was perfect. It was satisfying—smooth—no lag. But I know the developers are making the game more modern. Just saying, it would be a great idea to make it an option to go back to the old menu. Doesn’t matter if it only changes the start menu or everything in the watch—I honestly think it would be a good add on! The newer watch menu Doesn’t really fit inside recrooms style but oh well, thx for readin this :

As cool as this sounds, I feel like that menu was straight up deleted from the code of the game to a point of no restoration, they would have to rebuild the whole menu from scratch

Some people didnt get switched to new bean, but they have a missing face texture

The face textures are still in the files, just not meant to be used on a player

just on holotar recordings and such

basically just not intended for players

theyre the ones to say the old ui is harder to work with but they can literally add in the toggle and it would easily solve the devs and players problems

If the devs are sensible they would use the version control system called git

So the code would still be there it’s just in an old version

And they didn’t delete it completely, look at the menu for room comments or the calibration menu screen for psvr1

They really should have a legacy UI option for players who want it.

They have classic bean options, yet no watch customisation? You know, the second most seen thing in the entire game? Kinda nuts they haven't allowed watch UI to be changed.

It's still being used in hand gestures, Sub-room voting, and some other instances like the Feedback Clipboard, so why not just remaster it a tad with the old style Rec Room? You have the assets right there.
