as long as you arent transfering a 1.0 map to a 2.0 map or a 2.0 to a 1.0 or a limits v2 map then you can clone the subroom/subrooms you wanna transfer, go to settings, click move subroom, select the map

I have a map and want to move everything to a completely different map. On my current map, I have no subrooms; I only have a main room and I want to copy it all to another map because there is more ink there.

LimitsV2 rooms cannot be directly transferred or clone around because Rec Room no longer supports it. One day LimitsV2 rooms may even completely stop working. If you want to copy the contents of a LimitsV2 around, you'll have to save the things in it as inventions to move around piece by piece instead.

For anyone wondering, this is (at least partially) false. They can still be cloned on mobile and there are no restrictions on transferring ownership. Also, any rooms 1.0 subroom can be converted into limits v2.

Are you sure? I haven't heard of any way to directly convert a room to LimitsV2, is it through some kind of bug or forgotten method? Rec Room has been known in the past for not being the greatest at fully removing features 😅 (*ahem* 3D maker pen UI *ahem*)

Open rec room on your phone, and on the title screen, find a limits V2 room that's copyable. You can copy it

I can record a video and send it to you if you'd like

As for transferring ownership, there have never been any restrictions on that

And for moving subrooms, you just go move the subroom like you normally would
