I've watched player's leave this game one by one over a HUNDRED times because of how "boring" they say it is, or how glitchy the game's gotten, or how bad RecRoom's financial decisions have gone, etc. But despite how many player's the game has lost, there's still over a few thousand players that play this game almost everyday. And it's gets more and more everyday, so the game is staying afloat.
Take other "I-Pad kid" games for example, like Roblox and Fortnite. Those games have lost players even more than RecRoom has YEARS ago, and yet they are still active with thousands and thousands of players everyday.
I understand that everyone wants to go back to the older days of RecRoom, but what everyone doesn't get is that no matter how much you ask, you can't stop things from changing. Nothing made can last forever when it comes to a VR game.
And this new stuff is not that bad anyways. [Except for the Maker A.I. junk]
I've seen SO much hatred coming from the players that now I'm starting to think that people are hating because of 3 reasons. One: Everyone's gotten so used to it that they just be negative about ANY update they make, good or not. Two: Everyone just wants to stick to the old stuff and don't know how to move on. Or three: A mix between both.
What I DON'T understand, though, is how people think that they can change the outcome by complaining about it. Y'all are gonna have to get used to this. No matter how loud you are, the developers won't hear you. There's no "voting system" when it comes to RecRoom. This is THEIR game, not OURS. They can do WHATEVER THEY WANT with it, whether you like it or not.
So unless this game ever gets to a point where it has around only 500 players left?
It's not going ANYWHERE.
