This is js a me thing, I make maps and I hate rec rooms lighting system. It phases through walls and casts no shadows making it really hard to get good lighting

rec room dosent make any good origonal games anymore. the community ones are old and roomiverse menue options are garbage. not only that, but all the cheaters in pvp maps without a way to reportgame exploiters/cheaters and the vote kick that never works kinda ruins every community pvp map.

when i came to this game back in 2016, sure, the game was still free, but there was a barrier to entry, which was the cost of a gaming pc and a vr headset (oculus rift cv1 or htc vive headset)
that kept the children off and the community thrived
then they added desktop/console/mobile support, and made it so every 5 year old with his parents tablet/smart phone can play
nobody needs to spend any sort of cost to entry money on vr equipment anymore. it ruined the community that we had in a way
and because of that, people just make multiple accounts to avoid bans and shit now.

I do not like how whiny the community is over recent changes, I do not like voice moderation becoming annoying for me, I do not like certain people who play the game just because they exist, I do not like I have no good way of getting my ideas to surface and be made no matter how good they are
I do not like alot, but I love alot more and we all need to keep enjoying the game so new players can make the same happy memories we did even though it's not the same exact rec room.
The game is all about having fun, so let's do that instead of complaining

i am not a RR+ user. im not part of the creator program or whatever it is. nothing i make no matter how much i put into it will ever get reccomended by rec room, even at random.
back in 2016-2019, i had friends that still played the game. i could fill an entire private rec royale lobby off invite requests alone. after my 5 year break, this game has changed so much, all my old friends are gone and i cant make new lasting ones that actually STAY on the game.
do the survey theyre asking about what size worlds the community wants to see. one of the options is rec oyale sized maps
i want to see rec royale season 2. same map with a different game mode, or an anlternate map.
maybe something jungle island vietnam themed would be cool
i wanna see bigger pvps
with all the performance upgrades theyve added, it should be possible now
