I always get invited and friend request but every time i go to check it always says nothing and come back later

this always happens to me i dont really have a solution but to try to find whats causing it, how many friends do you have?

i have like almost 3000, i know it might sound stupid but it could be something with having a lot of friends cause it only started happening after i had like 2000 or more friends, but that doesnt really sound reasonable
