Hotfixes are for stuff that actually ruins the game. As in makes it unplayable and affects a large part of the playerbase
"Let me talk to you about update timelines. We are working on things this week to go out in two weeks. Next week's update has been packaged and is going through QA before it's sent to platforms. Platforms take a day or two to review. So if we started working on a fix, it would be 3 weeks minimum to get a fix out. But, then we have to see if there is another priority job ahead of this, which could slow a fix down further. Our devs have really packed workloads."
