It actually does do harm to keep it in the game.
The new bean/fba is more performant than the old one meaning that a old bean in a room WILL make the experience worse from performance alone.
Another thing is new items are made with the new bean, and supporting the old one means a 3rd type of item needs made for all items made by us and creators alike. That's a lot of work for a legacy feature.

Why not do something similar to vrchat how you can toggle on and off an avatar. If someone was lagging because of the old bean they could switch off they’re avatar and it would go to a default preset

That was only meant to answer the 1st. For the second though I’m sure the people who would still use old bean would know the consequences and if they’re still willing to use it be fine with not having any new items for it. If they’re that annoyed that much then yeah they could just upgrade

Unfortunetly we do not plan to support the old bean forever. I too disliked it for a bit, but after the changes and using it, I vastly prefer it now. I recommend trying it out and fixing your current outfit

It’s fine just for future updates I just wish stuff was more optional cause I know countless people who have quit the game and are planning to quit when old bean is deleted. I just wish stuff was more optional like keeping the weekly or even monthly challenge players logged in specifically to do those even though it wasn’t much people doing it according to y’all
