What do you need help with that’s different?
I’m tryna make a build your own type thing and whenever I grab objects (I suck at explains things) it grabs the bottom of it instead of where I grabbed it
Wait let me show u rq
Is it a maker pen object?
and also i suggest not using rooms 2.0, very buggy and good room template to build in.
Center pivot point? Idk if that exists on r2
i cant do rooms v1 due to the strict ink limmit so what do i do?
so yah idk what to do
ink limints in rooms v1 are big enough for good stuff
if you have your ink full without fully completing your idea then either you're doing something wrong or you should use subrooms
yea but i want to add lots of detail and a big map but due to the limmits i cant
id love to use limmits v2 but i cant ...
Remember, even if you have unlimited ink, the game will still lag after a certain threshold
You’re able to make detailed rooms too without using much ink if you optimize your shapes and tubes and use decorations and merge as much as possible
i have yet it still fills the ink
is it an enourmous location with super small deetails?
if yes, then try to cut on quality in places player will rarely be and focus on main locations
:[
trust me when i say this:
when making any game (in recroom or in other engines) you need to find a balance between optimization and quality
i already have its the models
don't use any RRO objects unless it's interactable stuff like guns, toys and buttons
don't make your models too complicated/ full of tubes, shapes, etc.
and if its a linear game then focus on the important parts of your game and don't do much in the backgrounds
and again, you can use subrooms and if you do it properly you can make a lot of stuff with not that much loading
