same thing happens if you use more than a few
just don't forget to use it in combination with "if player is local and valid" to make less heat
This worked for me, thanks
If your room is getting errors then it'll cancel out executions, that's the problem you're running into.
That won't do anything on its own
biggest problem with cv2 is net heat which kill everything if its too high
Just network properly
just use if player is local and valid so some heat goes onto the players device instead of the servers
My net heat was like 30% and that’s good for a limitsv2 room
Rec Room doesn't use servers for room networking.
Net heat is the same for every type of room.
Does the amount of things in a room affect it tho
What?
only chips that are working
I’m almost to the limit so that’s why the net heat is up
If you're updating a bunch of objects you aren't authority of them it'll use more NET than just updating a few.
working chips affect heat
any chips affect chips limit
any object affects ink
You shouldn't be constantly updating objects you aren't authority of.
also that
the thing is, you produce less heat if chips works for local and valid players
What?
and for authorities
yes but when you use chips for everyone everytime it creates heat for everyone
What?
im just talking from expirience here tbh so i may be stupid
Everyone has their own copy of the circuits, and their own CPU, and NET heat.
