How to connect controller on pc because ik i how to connect but never works on recroom. do i have to put a settings or something else?

i connect my xbox controller to pc recroom

and never works

and i installed recroom to steam for my pc

is that the problem?

You cant use a controler on pc, and you cant use a keybored on consel.

I use a laptop, I can connect a controller to my laptop, get on steam and when I’m in steam and my Xbox controller is on, I press the Xbox button on the controller which changes it to Console mode then you click on Rec room

My brother showed me this a while ago so it might not be accurate

And I’m bad at explaining things

do i have to connect it wireless or with wire

and i also use a laptop btw

I use Bluetooth but it will probably work with either
