#Makerpen question

@chilly needle
there isn't a circuit exactly for that, but you could make a system that filters by account names and allows certain people to hold the makerpen
Okay! I’ll have to try that out
yes, if your room has beta content enabled (you can enable this in the main room settings) then you can give someone permission to use the makerpen through game roles
just create a role and name it "makerpen" or something and give that role to whoever you trust with makerpen privileges
You could do it with the role chip, you set it up, then go to My room > settings > permissions > Co-Owner, Moderator or anything else > to the last tab > on the first one with role and then link the role chip name with it. After that, it should work immediately on the person which is a Co-Owner (example)
this works in Rooms 1.0, not sure, if it works in Rooms 2.0
I do not use rooms 2.0 so I’ll check it out
Idk if this will work. I only want like 1 or 2 of my mods to have it not all my mods
They could use a Function to make it.
Just place the system inside.
enable beta content in your room if you havent already then create a new role, configure the role to allow makerpen and create this circuit
Thank you
if you want to have multiple mods to have makerpen then do this circuit and add the mods' account names to the list (you can configure the list create to add more ports)
actually, only the role chip & the settings are needed, but that would also probably work as a alternative. I‘m always doing it with the role chip tho
yes but how would you give the role to the trusted mods without the circuits?
they dont want to just give it to all mods in the room but just a few of them that they choose
Hear me out, contributor
I don’t use contributor
How is that a problem
It’s not I just rather not use contributor.
Well ok then
Doing it the other way also helps me learn more CV2 and how things work in that field.
Even better
