I think it’s also possible in rooms 1.0 too
Have you seen it done before
Yeah, dozens of times in rooms 1.0
Before rooms 2.0 came out

People have done it in rooms 1.0 I think its just they make the sound louder than what the default sound is so it drowns out the default sounds lmao
Oh
The best thing you could do in theory is have your footstep sound ALSO play the rec room footstep sound, but at inverse polarity so it cancels out the RR footstep sound and only plays your own
this would require you know exactly when the footstep sound occurs and would require the exact footstep sound though
In theory
Another way you can help reduce the original footstep sound in Rooms 1.0 is to disable running, though that comes at the cost of sliding and the wind effects.

what
You can increase walk speed if that's an issue for you too
Can u read this again
I don’t think disabling running is even a good idea
So, you physically cannot remove any locomotion based sound within 1.0 rooms, what these people are suggesting to you are workarounds to try and get around the fact
only 2.0 rooms can truely remove the audio
The player definition board holds the default locomotion audio circuits
you’ll just need to edit into it and unwire the audio chips
How

Yes, but they are different per room type
