You are being sent to the VR login screen? What
It’s happening everytime you log in right?
This happened to me when I was experimenting with streamvr. Try uninstalling SteamVr, Oculus all that and see if that fixes it. They might be interfering with the game which thinks the game should be on vr, it’s weird
I'm not using steam vr, I'm just using the screen version.
(Like, y'know? When it asks you if you want to do steam VR or just play with the screen, I picked the screen option.)
I've also never really had this issue with the oculus version before, at least to my knowledge. So maybe it's a steam thing, or my computer?
Like I said, it's weird cause I didn't pick the VR option, but I'll try snooping around the files tomorrow to see if it installed any VR files.
Lmk if you find anything else out or have other ideas just in case.
Well looking at the way you booted up Rec Room using Steam, from the taskbar. Try booting it up from Steam regularly and clicking Screen for definite. After that possibly send in a support ticket
I've done that multiple times, I just did it this time to save time.
@dawn kite How do I send in a support ticket?

All there for ya :)
Thanks
You can always use the standalone version of rec room its on there website
in my opinion it runs smoother then steam
I'll try that too.
Also, how do I uninstall that? Is it in the steam files?
I'll try using the standalone version first, but I'll try this too if that doesn't work.
It didn't change anything. Again, the game isn't crashing, it's just the issue in the video that's happening.
@weak ruin
There should be a gear icon on the far right when you press on the steam app. Then press uninstall
