If you don’t mind me asking, is there a specific reason you are using that gizmo

If i ever need something permanently looking at players, i use lookat. Because it doesn't take up any CPU, and i don't have to worry about authority problems. I can't remember any good examples, but one thing i wanted to try was having a forest pathway with all these plants that look at the nearest player as they walk past. Any ways i could do this would require alot of CPU to have many individual plants do, as they'd have to worry about who in the area is closest and constantly setting their rotation to face the player. Additionally if there are any non-makerpen shapes i want to attach, i have to account for their position relative to the main object's pivot which is just much easier if i can "clamp" them together with a lookat gizmo, which itself will always remember the offsets at no extra cost.

Lookat is good for simple stuff, has its place still, but yes i do agree that CV2 is overall better, because it's a nightmare to temporarily turn off a lookat gizmo with CV2, or have it revert to a "default" position and rotation, or have different parts of the object do different things

Oh this wasn't something i ended up doing. I was considering it for an old map once but other people on the team said it was probably too much effort for what was supposed to be a simple map 😅 (i was struggling a while to get the plant to be made up of multiple lookats, so the whole body would curve towards you, but forgot the optimal pivot point placements and wiring and tagging order for such a thing)
