are you using quaternions by chance?
Quaternions are weird in the fact that 2 mathematically opposite quaternions are the exact same
Mathematically identical = Visually Identical
Mathimatically "perpendicular" = Visually Opposite
Mathimatically opposite = Visually Identical
but like, wdym facing forwaard
there is most likely a better way to do this
