As much as I like Rec Room, the stats aren't looking so hot. Granted this only accounts for users on steam, but both games have screen mode and mobile compatibility. Rec Room is at an indie game level for players. Never really noticed it was that little per day on steam.
#Ouch, the younger sibling game prevails.

I guess the only issue is, its kind of unfair to completely compare number stats of steam data chats between these two games because VR Chat is mainly PC. While Rec Room has Playstation, Xbox, Oculus, PC, AND mobile. And mobile alone i'm sure probably exceeds the number of every platform combined. Thats why Rec Room implemented a mobile category for Room Rewards. I will say though, the numbers for PC are extremely low for this game for what it is. And will most likely continue to drop as the market for games like Rec Room keep being created, causing more competition. Granted, the game is 8 years old now. Nothing lasts forever
This is old, but for the most part, the numbers have not changed since then.
Like Degenerate said, it's only been 8 years. Nothing lasts forever.
Reminds me of, "Not everything built, lasts forever." Very fitting for a game that literally died where it stood. Just checked a different game is one of my favorites, Budget Cuts, and it had like 4 active players on steam XD. This doesn't make me feel like the psvr or meta quest stats are any better.
I knew it was happening, but to see the numbers is quite interesting. It is far better than when it first started, but seems to have never really peaked above 10,000 players online ever.
