They're trying to get the most people online at once. Reason is support? Toster is basically trying to say to RR that game is need to be focused on than the community because most of the things RR does now is mostly related to the community.

But i rather you talk to people who are actually apart of it. And also dev and graphics.
Trust me on this, look at field than the crowd yelling at the field.

This is a debate too. Also maybe, they did something like this to gorilla tag and the devs loved it. Idk about rr thought but a boast in players will show mass amounts of support for the game.

It really depends on how large that boost is. The #SaveRR discord has around 600 members, which is a considerable amount, but given that likely only a fraction of those members will actually get online, i dont see it making much of an impact

Sure, there are dozens of RecTubers who are in the server and will likely promote it through community posts, but like 90% of people will forget about that single community post because those are mostly short-term memory.

If RecTubers really wanna make an impact, they'll have to actually make a thoughtful/memorable video about it cause that's what the majority of active subscribers see. If they want to get even more people in, they can even livestream and play the game with viewers on the day of the event cause the only goal is to get as many people online as possible.

But if all that RecTubers do is make a simple community post and call it a day, I dont see Rec Room paying much attention to the event at all

And i agree with @south coral . The community at play here is such an insignificant portion of the general playerbase that part of me doubts that Rec Room will even bat an eye at all.
