#How to create a 50 Hz receiver

Why 50?
Just because
Before I answer this, i need to know why
Because if its for something you dont need it for, I'd rather explain why you dont need it and a better option
But like, why? why do you need 50hz
I looked on the inventions tab saw there were no 50hz so I said I wanna make one but dont know how
If you just need it to **** around, i can tell you
Yea
Well, theres no 50hz because you wont ever need it, there isnt a purpose in it
But, generally, the best way to make a custom hz function is with Update
This event is called every frame, meaning if you had a timer and wanted X hz, you could check if 1 / X seconds have past, reset the timer and set an execution
*A "Timer" is as simple as a Float Variable, Time Get Precise Seconds, and Subtract
Keep in mind 2 things:
- The "hz" cannot go higher than what you are updating it with (eg. you cant use
Updateto make something update faster than your FPS) - The time between executions is not constant nor guaranteed
Cool ill see if i can apply this to my circuits ty
Isn’t update a beta? So u can’t save it
use update 30hz with a 0 second delay
Wouldn’t that be 60 hz
yea
best u can get without having the players input
no it’s in the event receiver
yes and no, the “Update” event is in the event receiver, but its Beta only, it will not show up if Beta isn’t enabled
wait update 30hz is beta?
Update is
It executed every frame
Meaning it’s effectively a 60hz
if u run at 60 frames
Oh I didn’t know that existed
circuits are yummy 😋
😂😂😂
Circuits taste like plexiglass btw
can confirm
You eat chips??
have eaten both before
You don’t?
