Not really. Though it may be calmer at some times than others, doesn't mean it is dying.
There are still people getting new to rec room, and lots more that have simply invested too much to quit now. (like myself to be honest)

well you see old players are quitting because rec room is doing things that they dont like, because of the weekly thing, this was their last straw
however new players are coming to rec room, ganna see what old rec room did, and probably quit as well seeing how fun it was back then

I've written a message about 5 times now and deleted them all ✌️😅 I truly try to always stay positive.... but in short, yes... it seems like something happened in 2022, and since then, Rec Room has been going downhill. I always want to believe the best, but it is getting harder and harder to defend Rec Room. I HOPE they can turn it around, but at the same time, I am personally having to look to see what other options are out there because Rec Room doesn't value Builders like me anymore ✌️😅🤷🏼♂️

They used to... but not anymore. Now they only reward the rooms that bring in the most tokens, no matter the quality. I have millions of visits to my rooms, and I choose to keep everything free... and in doing so, my new rooms now stand no chance, so why build anymore? The only way to find success in Rec Room is to now charge players for everything, which I don't want to do... so I've stopped building completely because there is no point anymore.
