I just finished ripping up and putting my oculus quest 2 controllers after 3 hours trying to replace the joystick. I tested it out to see if I still had stick drift and I don't. Im so happy and it will be much easier doing circuts and building!

Nice job! Usually it's just dust/dirt that gets within the joystick area in which causes the drift. A large way I got rid of mine temporarily was to use Electronic Cleaning Spray. Safe for your controllers, and usually fixes it with a simple few sprays. Better than dropping 100+ dollars on new controller(s).
