let me rephrase, when people see someone trying to make a backrooms game nowadays, they don't take it seriously because most people who make those are 10 year olds who don't know how to do anything

most backrooms games in rec room are usually crappy

so it's kinda like a rec room military situation

now if course there are people making backrooms games today that aren't frowned upon, I like to think myself as one of those people, but you usually have to actually show some effort made into it

I personally think you should be respected regardless of the project you're making (unless it's morally wrong or breaks the coc)
