You can make tokens off inventions, keys, consumables, room offers, custom shirts, activity boxes, being a teacher, making games, winning room awards, contests, Rec Room giveaway's, incentives from testing and survey's, and so much more. Point is you can make so much tokens without having to really pay anything. And yes, you do need RR+ to make tokens off inventions, keys, consumables, room offers, and custom shirts, but it's not really classified as buying tokens because you can earn more tokens than what you are paying for as in the $8.99 a month. It's up to the people if they really want to buy tokens are not. I wouldn't personally recommend it and will instead recommend getting RR+ instead. Case in point, I don't think it's worth buying tokens unless you really have to.
But of course, it isn't up to me or any other person to prevent them from buying tokens. If they want to waste money on tokens go ahead, I just think spending money on RR+ would be better in the long run because you can get a return on investment on both tokens, and IRL money if you manage to get enough.

In Rec Room you can create your own class to teach a certain subject. This can be with using the Maker-Pen, Circuits, or building, or anything else you want to teach. And yes, you can earn tokens from it. My friend makes 100,000 tokens a day by teaching a building class.

Kinda, but it's really up to you tho. People want to get their own amount without having to pay, and so they create things to get tokens freely once a week.
If you don't feel like creating for tokens, you can always buy some, but it may cost you more if you're trying to buy an expensive item or two.

Rec Room creative classes are completely free for everyone, teachers included!
They get awarded tokens from Rec Room themselves, just like how you get awarded tokens by Rec Room by opening activity boxes.
Please Note that the creative classes offer classes for different languages so if you are interested in joining a class, try picking one that is in your language.
