game is dying rapidly

i used to play this game daily from like 2019-2022 in that time the game changed so drastically and arguably for the worst... to start they seemed to focus more on screen mode players and less on the VR experience, many things became 2D and less interactive. i think a good example of this would be the locker... your clothing used to come out around you and you could pick and choose what you wanted and physically put it on yourself it was pretty sweet. now i do admit it was very inefficient so what they did next with the mirror UI and being able to scroll was PERFECT, it had the ability to grab the clothing and see a mini version of it in your hands and you could put it on that way OR just simply point and click... now its just a menu that pops up... all 2D. the next and what i think is the biggest reason would be THE MONITZATION honestly its actually kinda pathetic to see newer items going up for like 7k-20k plus tokens and every other item being limited time... i pointed out wayyy back when they started making random things limited time that its super lame and will snowball bad... and i wasn't wrong but worse yet nothing actually IS limited... they started bringing back random Christmas and Halloween things in the middle of JUNE with some random "the forbidden one shop" or whatever. Just makes it a pain for buyers if things are said to be "limited time offer" but in reality its just there for a few weeks and will be back randomly... we all know its not gonna actually be limited yet anyone who wishes to buy it afterwards cant until rec room decides randomly to bring it back.... why not make it just something you can buy anytime then??? also the lack of actual content is very prevalent... in the end im just really sad this game I really liked and made plenty of friends with turned into a soul less cash grab. and as much as i would like to say i hope it changes... god knows they cant and wont.

Rec room is on the decline because they are greedy and think simplicity is better (hence the 2d)

Next thing they are prob gonna do is make the game paid

3:mandatory subscription to even play the game

4: get rid of all games except of RROS

people just have so many tokens to buy everything for themselves and even gift it to lots of other people

I don't think they understand that official ideals would be WAY better than what we create, even if it's a top tier class creation of some kind. 😐

It builds and progresses Rec Room to create more things not just by us, but themselves, too. Like if they made a user-generated motorcycle prop, and then made a motorcycle racing game (you get the idea), it builds even more options and the possibilities never end.
