I get that and I disagree but one thing is ture, when something gets remastered One group is gonna love it, while the other hates it.
It's always gonna be 50 50 on both sides
But I think it got popular because of there wasn't as much backrooms games at the time and there wasn't much with lore
Now the backrooms all seeing is focused on gameplay and lore,but the older version was good and I would like to see it again

Yeah I guess, but I would like it a lot more if they kept the entity in level 0 (even if they had just kept those random little jumpscares that were in the redesign but then removed) and that chase thingy in level 1

If you think of it they took a step back with chase back to Ver 2 paper mask.
But anyway I think it's getting popular because of content creators which is very good but also kinda bad because of the lore and levels

Lights out and they made it kinda look cool with the sky box thing but the actual level was kinda It's really not Scary nor good play time. The only thing you do in that level is get a Gas can and fuel an Is generator up and leave
It's just filler
Not like the 4 next levels after that
