They had a mini resurgence actually, i've seen a few people starting new backrooms games in the events tab, and some people are make games that aren't backrooms specifically, but are definitely liminal space

Now it’s just ignited games with the same copied room or AI, skibbidi toilet, long blue stretchy arms guys, obbys, and random trash RRS hood games

Something i saw one do, it had an objective – "get all 8 collectibles!" – but there were only 7 😤
Someone even took a photo outsude of the map where the items are stored before spawning in, and there were indeed just 7!

That and spawning in the collectibles on a timer to force engagement time. Both very toxic but probably very successful tactics 😅
