restrict pickup to a tag
60Hz for 0 to 2 get closest (origin = value int switch: Match = For's Index, default = Right hand position. (configure to add) 1 = LEft hand position. Targets = get all with basketball's tag), if Get closest's distance less or equal to radius, add pickup tag to get closest's closest
bruh. pc needs shift enter, ima edit
edited
could make it rq
this is about it so far, gtg get dinner, prob not finished
thank you
alright
are you still eating or? Because If you’re not finished I’d like to ask if you can finish it for me. Take your time
can u explain what for does?
never understood it
well from what I can infer
I guess the circuit detects hand position and depending on where the player’s hands are it will give the ball a tag that can allow the ball to be grabbed
and remove it as well
finished, but ye, that def still needs testing
net go brrr
just came up with it
its not like sumn well known i kept on to xD
uh
I’m testing it out rn it looks like it’s not working
I’m gonna look over it
done
remember go to roles, shared, Pickup Restrictions: Allow Tags, Can Pickup Tags: override, edit, Add Tag "pickupable", Done
only thing not tested is multiplayer
and keep in mind this wont be very screenmode friendlly, i have to lay down which is quite annoying
wait, its only considering right period
tragic
nah it’s gonna be all VR. I have a genuine dislike for screens in terms of how they play
got it working, but can still error out net heat bc tags suck. Would you rather have it unequipt if disance at grab was not less than radius? That might work better though visually deceiving
theres another way tho, ill try that instead
@hardy anvil
Oki. now this works. It may or may not be too specific for the looping i was initially trying to do (but theres probily a way to, in which the way to is alot more clear now theres a working way in mind), but ye, this more straight forward & shouldnt overheat net (at least not easily unless players purposely go in and out of range as fast a possible)
just change "B" in the less or equals to what you'd like, im on screen so i did 0.5 to be more convient. 0.2 maybe more around the range your looking for
Alright I’ll be trying it this afternoon
@calm forge
by any chance could you spread the circuits out so I can clearly see what goes where? And also, is there any setup you have to do before? Like roles n stuff like that?
this is the only initialization
