how to get rid of accounts that are on your device that get you banned

If you can log into the accounts you'll need to unlink them
Watch menu > profile > Edit > Account Settings > Unlink Account

If you cannot log into the account, the only way is to uninstall and reinstall the game. However you must know the login information to the accounts you want on your device. By uninstalling and reinstalling, all accounts are removed from the menu. So you need your username and password for your account and any others (like your siblings and such that aren't problematic)

Right, the account is still being associated with theirs. That article is still relevant, but if they are still having issues, a ticket is the only thing left.

It appears as if you have what is called an "Associated Ban". Send in a ban appeal for an associated ban. There are some criteria that is involved in whether that association will be removed or not. I am not at liberty to explain what the criteria are.
