also sometimes when i reinstall it completely (without the login session wiping out tho) it starts loading, gets to 30% and crashes, then the usual goes the same

#

if anyone has the same issues on bare minimum steamvr link requirements and windows 11, tell me

this is what chatgpt said when i sent it the log file in pieces and told it to look for major errors

Are you sure all your divers are up to date?

mabye it's because you're on windows 11 because rec room was also very glitchy and didn't work for me

#

I replaced my mother board with and used windows 10 and the game works

should i try installing windows 10 on that 50gb partition i created and try it out there?

Windows 11 should have no effect on it and just because other things work doesn't mean your drivers are all updated.

how do i check tho?

#

my gpu and cpu are all by amd, so i think one app can cover all of them

#

also the same thing was happening on my old pc, but sometimes it loaded in just fine, but when i opened the watch, my hand went blank and when i closed the watch, it crashed

#

but i formatted everything there already and i cant provide the log

#

my old pc was much weaker too

#

it couldnt handle any version above 1909

#

of windows 10

#

so only my gpu needs drivers, these are up to date

#

but another thing is that my gpu needs atikmdag patcher in order for the drivers to work

so i tried loading in a completely blank room, no ink whatsoever, it started loading, the bar didnt go up, but the room name disappeared, and crashed

when i try launching rec room from rec.net, it launches as usual, crashes on the login screen, loads eac again and gives error 10011 (failed to start game (2))

Depends on the computer. Frist check windows update, jsut by typing update in the windows start/search bar and you should see that. Then, if you have a branded computer, like a Dell/HP type, then they usually have their own update software. Then, go to the AMD Radeon site and download the latest Radeon drivers from there.

well they are up to date, so its something else

#

i even tried launching it in different ways

#

im gonna make a video with notepad++ viewing player.log live as rec room runs

#

turns out it updates only after it closes the game
