What
Rec room gives an incentive for using rooms 2.0 but I don’t want rooms 2.0 for the incentives but for having the feature itself
i joined for the money but now i actually wanna learn circuits
The incentives aren't permanent. They're just to get more people testing and more feedback.
As I said I don’t really want the incentives
I want the feature itself but I don’t care about the incentives like it doesn’t matter if I don’t get them
Most people who join for them probably won't get the eight hours before 2024.
I don't see how, as that is one sitting, though
But I don’t think 8 hours a day most people would be able to do to be honest
Only difficulty for me is how much is cut.
It's not a day, just in total
Like me, even tho it’s Christmas I still got stuff to do before playing rec room and I would say I spend like 4 or 6 hours
Yes it is 8 hours per day for 4 weeks if I’m not wrong (which is a month basically)
I'm glad they have the incentives. If it was any other time, I'd be more like you, but this is a great time, as people who actually want to give feedback on it will do it, but less people who just want the money.
It's eight hours in total
So you gotta make 8 hours in 4 weeks right, but I do really wanted the feature mostly because no ink limit
It's not per day.
That’s Ez tbh, that could be done in two days with 4 hour sessions
Or one day.
Nah I don’t really think most people would bother to mess around for that time
They would just get bored and join another room after at least 4 hours
i think alot of people saw skols video about it and now are trying to afk for the tokens
You do have to give feedback do
i think they actually do read the forms this time which is good. helps filter out the bozos
yeah
I already have almost an hour in it, but I shall get nine when I can just to prove you that it's possible.
i actually did give feedback. me and some random people just messed around in a private room and discovered glitches
But we’re talking about people that got rooms 2.0 for just the money
its 25k tokens. so alot of people want it but i am actually having fun with the circuits
Did you find any to spawn RRO weapons like whips?
no those are disabled
I even created a rooms 2.0 sandbox so makerpen noobs can mess around with it without bothering to make the form
more gamebreaking bugs than fun ones
Yes all props are disabled
i made a machine that rapidly spins
Some cv2 components are missing as well
It’s alpha still
I already have part of a review, and it's very negative so far. I'm 44 minutes and 23 seconds in.
I will just AFK sometimes to be honest
I think I might just prefer RoomsV1.
But ofc in short periods of time focusing into giving actual feedback for making myself useful
Rooms2.0 is still very new I get your point
There are just some core stuff missing
We don't even have glass! What is this, 2016?
I FRICKIN MISSED GLASS
Spheres have cube colliders.
Can't spawn most things including RRO weapons, so no whips.
Doesn’t that happen with optimized colliders?
No longer exists from what I can tell.
I want to just play around with it, I don't care about the tokens 😃
No props are there (well except for board and magic marker)
Me too, I just want mostly the no ink feature
I came into it wanting the tokens, hat, and to mess around. I might leave wanting the tokens and hat.
In my opinion as a last update rooms1.0 should become ink less as well
I will just AFK for that to be honest, I can just leave a macro that presses the space bar continuously and turn off my screen and leave it there
I'll work as much as I can, as I want to be legitimate, but they make it difficult.
I personally don’t care about other features but I only care about no ink and hierarchy
I am very mixed about the hierarchy.
It just needs to be simplified to be honest
It feels very underbaked.
Yep, it wasn’t made with much love
That, and on VR it's a pain to move spmething from one hierarchy to another. Feels unresponsive.
I also hate that circuits are included in the hierarchy. Makes circuits from one thing to another more complicated.
I do think that circuits should have their own patter called folders or graphs
So that we can also organize circuits in a different way
