Why does rec rooms "low graphics mode" actually do nothing but change lighting

i'm sorry @glacial cipher but if you can run hl2 a 20 year old game on high and just manage to get 70fps, you ain't gonna run rec room, from the sound of it your pc is from 2003-2009

the only possibility you’re getting more than 40fps is if you’re running rec room at hl2 graphics
