im not voice banned and i tried going on pcvr and using a external mic pls help me 😭

Check the audio tab settings to make sure it is enabled. If you are on PC, make sure your default input device is right ebfore you start the game. Then in game, select in the audio tab to use your system microphone.

idk if this helps but it started to not work after i turned off push to talk

You actually have the mic turned on, in recroom

You could also try reinstalling it

You turned it to off? That is 3 positions of microphone. Like always on, push to talk and off, meaning no microphone.

no i switched from push to talk to always on

And you checked your audio settings on the PC and changed it to system mic in audio settings?

If you play the Quest standalone veriosn, not through PC, is your microphone working?
