In the case of the 2nd option Get an event definition set it to whatever property you need, Get and event sender and configure it to the event definitions name and connect its input to the buttons output and get an event receiver and configure it to the event that gets sent
However I wouldn't define that as a "Test Event " Its literally an event system

Just use an event sender with the all players thingy
Test event essentially just sends an event to all players with a press of the button.
