I’d try looking at some shops like Micro Center and Amazon. You can find some laptops there.
Since Rec Room is a CPU more intensive game I’d rather recommend something with a beefier CPU
Buying form micro center is good, but never go there for repairs ITS HORRIBLE
I know. I just recommend them for buying stuff.
Anyways, the bare minimum of the game calls for a 970. So anything like a 3050 mobile should be good.
I’d best go for a 3060 mobile, but a little more money is needed, but it’s more powerful.
I had a gaming laptop broken because the little rod inside the computer (Where you plug it in from) twisted, and I went to fix it.
All they did was clean it, it worked for 2 hours and it broke
I’d recommend anything from a higher up i5 or a Ryzen 7.
Lower end CPUs will cause the game to stutter and lag.
Onto GPUs, Anywhere in the sweet spot from the 3050 Ti to a 3060 is good. It may even be suggested to get a 4050 which costs around 800-900 USD, which in your currency is around 12,320.00. Without taxes.
3050 GPU laptops cost around 600 (9240.00) and 3060 can be anywhere from 700 (10780.00) to 800 (12320.00).
But then also begs the question. Are you going to use this for more games? Will you need something more powerful? Or will you just play this game?
I know from experience with the 3050 Ti because my friend uses them. They also said it runs fine for them.
TLDR: Rec room is cpu intensive, anywhere from a 3050 to a 3060 mobile should be good. Get around a higher i5 or Ryzen 7.
Average price for one is around 600-700 (9240.00 and 10780.00) respectively.
3050 Ti is good for vr Rec room and screen mode, but look out on the low VRAM.
I’d, however, try to drop my VR resolution down a bit to get smooth frames.
