This could mean one of a few things things. One, you are mic bnned. Two, your mic is broken. Three, you are in game muted. Four, your RecRoom is bugged and you need to restart your game

standalone or PC

if its standalone check your quick settings and see if the mic is muted in there

PC, go into your quick settings on the right and it will show your battery percentage and controller battery
