If you want to get hand velocity RELATIVE to the hand, you rotate the hand velocity by the inverse of the hand rotation using Quaternion Inverse and Rotate Vector
you can also get hand velocity relative to you by rotating by the inverse of your rotation
Get Rotation= relative to your head, excluding Y axis rotationPlayer Get Head Rotation= relative to your headPlayer Get Camera Rotation= relative to your cameraPlayer Get Gaze Rotation= relative to your head but without being affected by view bobbing etc

Rotate the vector (-1,0,0) (which is world left) by the things rotation

Want to get left vector of an object? Rotate (-1,0,0) by inverse of object rotation
