Streamer Cam Views

So I've been recording using my pc for a while, and I've noticed that you have to press the trigger on the streamer cam to get the view through the camera. While this works on vr, there's no option to select streamer cam view by clicking the camera (The only control option is to drop it) and the option to select through the views menu just isn't active. This is the same with the custom camera positions and I don't want to always have to get on vr just to get a proper view. Any suggestions?

This, and also the streamer cam only shows its view upon grab after the first time I enable Stream Mixer. Once I select another view like pov, I can't get back to the camera view until I close the game entirely.

I just tested this out and you are doing something wrong as you can switch between them. You have to cycle the arrows below to handheld, once you have pulled it out. Then, you select those windows to change between the views.

Same would be for any points you put into a room with the camera gadget. They have to have a name and then you cycle to them and select them as you go.

How else am I suppised to cycle them? I uses the arrows to select them in order to get the screenshot-

The camera circuit is on which is why I can have Custom 1 as a view

The problem is that I cant select it. Its pushed in and unavailable, yet available on vr.

It switches to a different available view, being face and teleport

Not sure if theres any other default ones

Maybe try the stand alone version, from rec.net/download. Maybe it is just a Steam issue.

Update, it's doing the same thing in vr

The launcher seems to be working with streamer cam views. It's a little annoying but I can do stuff for recording

Must be a weird one cuz why would it happen on vr AND screenmode?

Cause it is both Steam, it is the same game, different mode. Could try an uninstall, then clear Cache/registry of Rec Room, and install again, see if that changes anything

I cleared Steam cache, had to login again but it works now. Tho is is suppoed to block custom views during a game?

That might be a setting on the camera or the room.

Try toggle it on/off, fiddle around with it, might be a bug. Think there is something in game roles that sasys something about cameras too. Dn't recall off hand.
