I guess they thought it would be neat to be able to check your battery with the click of a button.
But I could already tell my battery with the click on a button. Same for pretty much any other device. They need an option to toggle it off. (Please recroom, why do you hate having options to toggle things)

But what does it affect? I meant it is literally just a small little white icon in the top right of the menu. Sure, you can see your battery with a press of a button, but that is out of game. Your watch is still in game.
