#how can I make a player faster with cv2?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Jesus Christ how fast do you want them?
Dw bout it
By chance is this for a ^HowFarCanYouRun game?
Add velocity to the player in the direction their going (get velcoity -> vector3 normalize) IF that player is moving above the speed set for that player's role
Nah
sorry, should've suspected that ¯_(ツ)_/¯
This is your solution tho. Unless someone has a more optized version
Anything else I should know before I do it or is that all
how do they stop moving? 😨
💀💨
There is no perfect solution as of now, since you cannot just modify player speed.
You should know that it's not the perfect way, and you have to test for edge cases
that requies a paycheck
I mean I’ve seen it done before by a friend, but he’s gatekeeeping
Like he went from 0 to 110 in under a second and then stopped
Then your friend is only telling you, you don't pass the intelli stat check
You sure he didn't just set a roles sprint speed to 2X and at 20m/s
Fax
Yeah cause my role was that and he dusted me
He may of just had another role
I had all at max though
You should do your best to not be friends with that person.
if he's soo keen in keeping this away from you, not your friend
Like that wasn’t any normal cv1 role chip speed
Even sprint speed multiplier?
Like dead ass
True
It's so simple dude.
Yea
I don’t know cv2 idk
right, and using that to his advantage to make himself look good, is trashy. Cuz now look at us.
I'm dogging on him for not telling you, cuz now we gotta teach you
Dead ass, don't talk to him no more lol. He don't want to see you be great lmao.
I'll let you know what he did.
Kk
😁
Trigg handle -> On press -> set a local bool "push active" to true
Trig handle -> on release -> set local bool "push active" to false
Event receiver 30hz update -> if (local bool "push active") is true then -> Velocity add (direction input = get forward vector of player holding trigger handle)
The float values on the Velocity Add chips is what you configure to make yourself faster. Set max add to whatever or total max to whatever you want.
😁😁
Thanks man
why not use primary action held? is it buggy?
