#how to make an object move locally

So local objects are effectively impossible, a beacon however can be configured to have its “synced” toggle turned off
So it will only act for whoever runs it (being local)
omg, i don't know how i never saw that, thank you
This isn’t possible without studio, but you can recreate the effect using an unsynced text gadget or anything visual really. The position will be synced no matter what though, so you can only do so much with this
Now that I think about it, the only true way to have partially local objects, is with the clamp & state method, but even then, the position isn’t local, just if you can see/interact with it
Isn’t that only for if you’re holding the makerpen?
Unfortunately
Still neat though
Shit gets weird if you attach a seat to it though and sit in it
The game puts you in limbo basically
Get sent to the shadow realm
On your end, you won’t notice anything except it has a chance to make your hand go invisible, for everyone else, you’re moving at about 5 frames, have No collision and have no face
It like unloads you
And doesn’t at the same time
Ohhh
I had that happen in the rrs Pavlov game once
Didn’t even do anything game just felt like paralyzing me😭
What’s worse is it can also freeze your character in place just before you enter the seat (if you enter it with circuits while it’s unloaded) what happens is the same effect as before, but now you’re actually frozen for others, and your character CAN be interacted with, like having a piston push the floor under you, or being hit by a car, people think it’s you, but it isn’t, its a loading artifact it seems
