That is odd, you PC should work fine with it. Have you tried the Steam version?

I just tried the installer on this PC, which is not on recommended specs, and it gets to the install screen I showed above.

One way to check if you have admin is here, but if you have installed other things, you should be fine. https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/check-if-you-have-local-admin-rights-to-install-office-edc2f78a-e6b7-4041-917b-8136afb0a654#:~:text=to a domain-,Select Start%2C and select Control Panel.,Make sure Administrator is selected.

Intersting, no idea why it would be stopping in that part. You are online while trying to install? Maybe it is trying to collect info at the same time.

odd, cause that folder is where it puts all the temp files when it goes to install

matter of fact, it looks like it adds another folder, go up one to Local, from that temp

I have no idea. I recommend opening a request on Zendesk, attach that image showing where it has stopped. Let them know you have tried clearing the %temp% folder, rebooting and still getting the same issue. Would love to know what they recommend next.
