There is a reason, the reason is shown on your board in the dorm. There is no way for you to see who reported you or even if they reported you that related to your ban. Calling someone out on this Discord though could get you in more trouble though as that is considered witch hunting. Also, bans are not discussed here. So yes, false reports are possible. False bans are possible. But it is a stretch to say that it is one person constantly getting you banned. If that’s the case, we would see that when reviewing ban appeals. The ban would get lifted and if what OP was saying was the case, we would punish the false reporter. Nothing can really be done other than appealing the ban. If the ban was appealed and still denied, it’s because we have evidence wether it is a trusted volunteer moderator/staff member witnessed the behavior, voice moderation was triggered, or reports were made over a long period of time that were deemed credible. As for the witch hunting, that is exactly what happened. There is no explicit guidelines that makes something “witch hunting” other than naming someone publicly in a bad light with the implied intent of shaming. Not much else to say on the matter and arguing won’t get anyone what they are looking for.

I know for a fact people get heated in Rec Room and have gathered their posse to get people false reported. But, that is up to the appeal and the support team to handle. The original witch hunting issue would be along the same lines, as it could then see people taking sides, as they only see your side here. Then, they go in game, hunt this person down, harass them and start making false reports as well. It becomes a vicious cycle and the only way to break it is to be the "bigger person" and control the one thing in the situation that you can, yourself.

From what I understand, voice logs are only saved around an incident. Like the quick save/share of your Xbox/PS, it hears words that trigger the moderation, saves X minutes for review and that is it.
They are not recording everyone all the time.

We do hold voice logs when an incident happens for 30 days. We use that to determine whether a ban should be lifted or not. It's not the sole factor that determines a ban appeal status but it is a big part.
It is in our privacy policy/tos that we hold voice logs.
