Just like the PSVR2, it will probably come along eventually.

Looks like you might be able to play the mobile version with a Bluetooth controller on a 100" virtual screen.

Yes, it is confirmed that Rec Room supports the Vision Pro. It was featured on the app store in the WWDC promo video.

The jury is out on whether it will be played in tablet mode or in VR proper. I'm of the camp that it will support VR proper otherwise they wouldn't feature it, lots of other people think otherwise.

Sorry, I was excited and didn't read your full post when I responded.

how would it work?

#

no controller

#

probably just like those stupid headsets that are just a phone in a box

#

except +2994 dollars

Hand tracking, but functions like pinch move forward, or some other finger gesture to do other functions. I'm pretty sure it would be pretty limited to just social functions as playing paintball, moving and shooting probably would not work out too well.

And besides apple sees their headset as a “spatial computer”

#

So it’s mostly designed for flatscreen tasks

#

I do think that apple might make after the apple vision pro a cheaper headset (maybe something for competing with quest 3) that isn’t confirmed or neither filtered that might be called like vision SE or vision Mini (I’m just inventing names LOL)

Or just Vision, as this one is the Pro. But, I doubt Apple will ever come down in a price range that competes with Meta.

In the case of rec room going for  vision pro it might be most likely to be like minecraft bedrock for quest (the official one)

Only thing is that  didn’t showed something like a direct touch feature
